Beacon Contributes
Beacon and our employees give
generously and frequently to those less fortunate, by collecting and
sending donations to our troops, as well as patients in several local
hospitals. We have been an active participant in the Toys for Tots drive
since the 1990’s and continuously support the local Salvation Army
chapter.
Beacon also contributes to many charities which seek to cure disease and
alleviate suffering. Among these are American Health, The Breast Cancer
Research Foundation, Memorial Sloan Kettering, American Porphyria
Foundation, Servants of Mary, Bennett Cancer Center, Juvenile Diabetes
Research, American Diabetes Association, and the American Lung
Association.
Beacon is a supportive member of our local Saddle Brook community,
donating to the Saddle Brook High School Project Graduation, the Saddle
Brook Memorial Day Parade, the St. Philips Festival, and the Saddle
Brook Ambulance Corp. We are an on-going sponsor of the local Meals on
Wheels chapter as well as the Children’s Therapy Center at the Cerebral
Palsy Center of Bergen County, which serves over 300 special needs
children in the local area.
